As company Director, Dr Michelle Wright leads the dynamic HealthFirst team of doctors, nurses, midwives and hard-working administrative and marketing support. A British-trained General Practitioner (GP), Michelle also works part-time as a doctor in the Staff Medical Service of the International Labour Organisation, Geneva, maintaining her patient contact and clinical work. For over 10 years, she has had her own weekly radio show, Health Matters, on World Radio Switzerland: https://worldradio.ch/radio/shows/health-matters/ Passionate about health promotion and disease prevention, Michelle has a diploma in Lifestyle Medicine from the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine. She is also an ensa Mental Health First Aid instructor trainer and course instructor.

As Mental HealthFirst Director, Dr Mecky McNeil helps coordinate and deliver our mental health seminars and trainings. Mecky is a British-trained General Practitioner (GP) with 15 years of clinical experience. She worked in a large family practice for many years and was also a GP specialist in Cardiology. Always passionate about health promotion and disease prevention, Mecky became a health coach in 2017 after completing her training as an associate coach with University of Cape Town Postgraduate Business School. She now focuses on mental health and alongside her role with HealthFirst, Mecky has a part-time role at ensa Mental Health First Aid in Switzerland. This includes developing the MHFA programmes in English, alongside being an instructor trainer and the English ensa instructor co-ordinator.

Polly is a British-trained nurse and midwife, who has worked for NGOs and Missions around the world. As a mother of four, she brings particular empathy to her roles as both HealthFirst Senior Trainer and Birth Preparation Class specialist.
Mags is a UK-qualified midwife, experienced in pre-natal education, deliveries and post-natal care. Having worked in adult and baby intensive care units, she is passionate about high standards of First Aid and resuscitation techniques. She is an experienced teacher of Sex and Relationship education and a professional singer in the Lake Geneva region.

Cheryl was born in Geneva and trained as a Paediatric Nurse at Great Ormond Street Hospital, London. Working at the Petit Saconnex paediatric medical centre and previously at Hôpital de La Tour, she adds her unique bilingual knowledge of the Swiss medical system to her First Aid Training. As a parent of two active teenagers, she is passionate about the prevention of accidents and illnesses.

Amanda is a British-trained nurse who has worked in England, Australia and Switzerland. She was a School Nurse and Emergency First Response Instructor Trainer at the International School of Zug and Luzern and is mother to four boys. Amanda brings her enthusiasm for healthy life choices to our Health Screening Assessments for employees all round Switzerland.

Christine is a US qualified nurse with particular experience in health promotion and stress reduction. She is a qualified massage therapist and yoga instructor and has been a School Nurse at the International School of Geneva since 2006. As a Senior Trainer for HealthFirst, she delivers courses in her native French and English.

Rachael is a British trained Nurse who has worked in England, Switzerland and Southern Africa. After many years working in adult nursing and Critical Care for the UK NHS, she moved to Switzerland with her family, where she now works as a HealthFirst Trainer. Rachael is interested in global health issues, having previously volunteered with the charity Mercy Ships and brings her enthusiasm for teaching to the HealthFirst team.
Olivia is the HealthFirst Administrator bringing her bilingual skills, organisational talents and marketing capability to her role, ensuring the smooth coordination of every First Aid Course. She is a Media and Communications Studies graduate and gained experience with Sky TV and MTV as well as the popular British hospital drama ‘Casualty’.
Barbara is the HealthFirst Administrative Assistant, coordinating in French and English with clients and trainers. She has worked in Paris and London organising and auditing in-house trainings, courseware development and translation within companies. Her excellent planning and execution skills facilitate the delivery of HealthFirst services and products.
Ali Mackinnon is responsible for marketing, with experience gained from working in international schools in Switzerland and France as well as financial recruitment in London. Speaking English, French and German she has lived in the Zurich area for the last ten years having previously lived in Paris for twenty. Mother of two sons, she is a keen traveller, yoga enthusiast and reluctant hiker.
